El Morocco Club is a restaurant located in Tangier, Morocco that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine with European and fusion influences. The outdoor seating area is popular for lunch and dinner, and the restaurant has a full bar as well as wine and beer on tap. Reservations are accepted. Private dining is also available. Parking is available nearby.

Highly recommended just to relax and enjoy the place. We just had drinks but the food was appetising. The service was little but crowded because they were a lot of clients but really nice people. If you visit Tanger, please come and enjoy the place.

Good vibe, cosy interiors and tasty food, but there was a hair in my dish! I got some excuses from the staff, the dish was replaced, so I give it 4 stars.Good vins gris by the way and Moroccan wine carte

They have a small, formal dining room upstairs, and a charming Moroccan style speak easy downstairs. Downstairs is where you want to try to eat/drink. Smoking is allowed downstairs but it’s well ventilated. Downstairs is what makes this place special, but seating is limited, so get here early and specify you want to eat dinner downstairs. My wife had the lamb dish which she loved as it was sweet, and well presented. The lamb is a shredded layer topped with rice and sweet potatoes. I ordered the center cut stake with fries. My order of medium rare came out rare, so you might be better off ordering it medium if you want The steak to be seared on the outside and cooked to a warm red center with a hint of pink. Where it still has some firmness but is still juicy and tender. If you are looking for unique and special, it’s the speak easy (1920’s style bar) downstairs, the fine dining quality and presentation, and for a fairly reasonable price. We spent $120 for two beautiful main course meals, 1 wonderful desert, 3 beers, and two co*cktails. Again, just make sure you get down into the speakeasy for that special charm you are looking for.

El Morocco Club is definitely worth trying at least once, for the ambiance and the quality of its superb food. Dinner menu prices are high for Tangier, but the food is always very well prepared and artistically presented, and everything is fresh. It's worth the price. Service by the polite waiters is unobtrusive, fast and professional. In the warmer months, you can enjoy an informal lunch outside under a old tree: homemade soups, crispy salad, couscous or tajine, a club sandwich, hamburger, soup of the day, gazpacho, dessert, mojito, coffee or mint tea, for a reasonable price. All ingredients are fresh and top-quality.El Morocco Club is definitely one of the best restaurants in Tangier.A delicious lunch outside under a tall old tree costs less than half the dinner prices. It's quite pleasant during the warmer months and in the autumn. In addition to the gourmet food and elegant inside upstairs dining room with a spectacular light fixture, El Morocco Club is a place for people watching and to be seen. The round or square tables all have flowers, white cotton tablecloths and napkins and red leather chairs.Today I ran into several friends I hadn't seen for awhile, and chatted with Vincent, the amicable owner. I thoroughly enjoyed what was perhaps the best hamburger in my entire life, served with crispy homemade potato chips and a fresh mixed greens salad. I definitely will order the Hamburger Special again. No alcoholic drinks are served outside during lunch under the immense tree, but inside at dinner time and during “Happy Hour” at the well-stocked bar you will find a remarkable selection of vintage European and Moroccan wines, co*cktails and ice cold domestic and imported beers. You may telephone dinner reservations to eat inside at El Morocco Club, but it is not required that you do so. Credit cards are accepted.Whether you eat by yourself or with family and friends, you will be glad you chose El Morocco Club.

If you only have time for one restaurant in Tanger, make it this one! The food is excellent and creative, the interior is fantastic and the staff friendly and well trained. Do make a stop at the piano bar before or afterwards for great live music.

Nicolas Chartier — Google review

Located in the Kasbah section of old Tangier, we stopped here for lunch on a day of sightseeing. It was a very mellow experience, with wonderful service, delicious food, and a luxe and calming setting. Our server said evenings were much busier. We had several starters, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water which came out to $74USD. Highly recommended as a stop to fortify on a day of exploring the old town. Note that there is a narrow stairway leading up to the main floor of the restaurant. I am not sure if there is an elevator

Mark — Google review

The restaurant serves slightly modified versions of traditional Moroccan cuisine. There dishes are very creative, however the food, at best is average for the price asked. Our main course was a modified version of Tajjine and even though we liked the concept of it, the chicken was vey dry and rubbery.

Mohammad Zaman — Google review

Great place, great experience. If you fancy more European food with a Moroccan twist - it is the right place.Prices would be higher than in an average restaurant , but it is to be expected taken in consideration interior, service and general quality of food!

Victoria Bakulina — Google review

A lovely place for an evening drink, the downstairs piano room has a very nice atmosphere and good music. They make a decent Negroni and had some nice wines on the menu too.Skip the food though...it's not terrible but it's not great either with small portions and expensive prices.Have dinner somewhere else but finish your evening here

L. Rachel Protto — Google review

Had an excellent dinner! Food was finely presented & service was 5 stars! It’s what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant! We started off with a couple of drinks at the bar which had the most awesome vibe to it. They do a really good Negroni! We had the tuna tartare & the burrata in Taktouka to start. Both had a nice hint of Moroccan to it. Our mains were the John Dory fish in creamy saffron risotto & Chicken Pastilla. Fish was cooked to perfection, loved the lemon foam on top. Children Pastilla was probably the one item not on top of our list. For desserts, we tried the lemon meringue pie & creme brûlée with saffron - both amazing tasting! Also really enjoyed the wines - tried the rosé and a bottle of Moroccan white.Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there! Would have loved it if the live band was playing, I’m sure!

Food is very good, moroccan food with modern touch. The place is SUPER Nice, a bit expensive but its probably because is one of the best restaurants in the medina.i really recommend it!

If you find yourself in the charming streets of Kasbah, Tanger, and are on the lookout for a truly remarkable experience, then look no further than El Morocco Club. This gem of a place transcends the ordinary and goes beyond the boundaries of a mere bar, restaurant, or breakfast spot. It has become a vibrant hub and a community treasure, attracting both locals and travelers alike.Start your day off right at El Morocco Club with a breakfast, savor the freshness of their juices, the richness of their coffee, and delight in the care with which every dish is prepared. As the sun sets, El Morocco Club welcome to an elegant restaurant. Their dedication to using only high-quality, fresh ingredients is evident in every bite. Classic dishes are crafted with passion, making each dining experience truly memorable. For those seeking more than just a delightful meal, staying late into the night is an absolute must. Trust me, I've experienced it firsthand and it was a night to remember! The atmosphere becomes electric, and the bar comes alive with a vibrant energy that draws you in. The DJ keeps the beats flowing, and the dance floor becomes a magnet for fun-loving souls. It's the perfect place to meet cool people.I must extend a special shout-out to Vincent, the gracious owner of El Morocco Club. His warm hospitality adds an extra touch of charm to the entire experience. Vincent's passion for his establishment and dedication to creating a welcoming environment for everyone is truly commendable. Also special thanks to a waiter who’s name I can remember now, but this lovely guy serves breakfast there and if I remember correctly his name in Arabic means “milk”, sorry dear friend, I forgot your name but I would never forget how kind you are:)

Vladimir Osnovin — Google review

First of all - we had a fabulous time. The price was not super high, it was actually quite standard pricing for the quality. Please don't listen to these "tour guides" on here that prefer to under pay because they can not simply afford to dine. The El Morocco Club in Tangier was wonderful! Staff is highly professional and attentive even during busy moments, the restaurant is not too loud and quite enjoyable for a late night evening. We only hope that they open a little earlier than 7pm, perhaps 5pm for a co*cktail hour or some sort before dinner. This restaurant is a must in Tangier.

Delicious food, incredible service, and beautiful atmosphere! Expensive but worth every minute penny in my opinion. I started with the tuna tartare, then the fish and saffron risotto, followed up with the cheesecake. Highly recommend all of it!

Just beyond the entrance of the old city, you'll come across this café on your right! I enjoyed the outdoor seating near the tree. The café-style food didn't disappoint.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy some delicious Moroccan Jewish cuisine, Café à l'Anglaise is the spot for you. The food is heavy on garlic, and there are also plenty of cookies to try. As a bonus, the restaurant has a lovely terrace right on Rue de Kasbah where you can relax after your meal.

A Perfect Morning at a Charming Tangier Coffé à l’Anglaise. The breakfast I had at this little cafe in Tangier was exceptional. It was an oasis of calm and culinary excellence, where every aspect of my experience was carefully curated to create a truly memorable morning.

The staff is welcoming and very kind. The food is very delicious. But the catchiest of them all is the decorations, it's as great as it can get !!

Cute place with very delicious food. Service is prompt and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Fresh fruit juice is a nice starter. Will definitely come back for another meal here.

Original vegan tajine, rooftop terrace, warm and welcoming service. This was the best place I have eaten in Tangier or in Morocco for that matter. I can also truly say that 'a l'anglaise' is vegetarian or vegan-friendly. You can eat a vegetarian tajine anywhere, but much less effort and care is usually put into those dishes. This cute family business welcomes you with a lovely mother and her daughters in a carefully decorated and cozy living room setting. The girls speak perfect English and are more than happy to have a friendly chat and give you some recommendations on what to do in the area. One of the best things about this place is the lovely rooftop terrace. There is an inside as well as an outside part to accommodate you despite the weather conditions. They have a good wifi connection-which can be hard to find-although it does not reach the rooftop. Now the food; it was pricier than at other places. We paid two or three times as much. But it has not been easy to find Moroccan food with a twist. As a vegan, my options are either vegetarian tajine or couscous. This becomes boring quite quickly because it is always prepared with the same vegetables (carrots, zucchini, potato) and prepared with much less care than this beautiful creation.I ordered a vegan tajine and got a beautifully presented artichoke tajine with leek and legumes. On the side I ordered some delicious vegan spinach samosas on a bed of mint leaves. All of this with freshly squeezed orange juice of course.Pros:- original vegetarian tajine- understood veganism- speak fluent English- friendly service- rooftop terrace- good wifi connectionCons:- wifi did not reach rooftop- pricier than other restaurants

Great sandwiches and juices. Well priced too with friendly staff. Also a fun spot to sit outside and watch the cars navigate one of the steeper hills in Tangier

Jordan Coyle — Google review

Charmingly decorated, petite cafe with lovely staff. Menu offers assorted coffees, tea, and juices as well as lunch/brunch foods. A perfect place for people watching as the locals walk by, returning from their shopping on Rue de la Kasbah. We particularly enjoyed the detox juice which includes fresh ginger and lemon, as well as the Italian Coffee brewed and served in an authentic Moka Pot. The cafe's eclectic mix of cups and saucers is also delightful. The cafe also remain opens during Ramadan, making it one of the few locations in Tangier where tourists can sit and eat during the day. Also, I don't know about you, but drinking from a vintage teacup makes a cafe experience so much more lovely. If you feel the same, this is the place for you!

Robin Barnes — Google review

Very nice place, great food and the stuff is very friendly. They also have a nice terrace in the back.

This cafe is so cute and we had the most delicious breakfast! Staff was so kind and the ambiance was beautiful

Naraya Price — Google review

Enjoyed a fabulous meal outside. Such fresh produce and well seasoned food. Enjoyed couscous and chicken kebabs. Couscous was served on its own in a large bowl accompanied by vegetable tagine with lots of hearty vegetables. The kebabs were so crisp from a light breading and serious spice mixture. Was so impressed and happy with this meal. Would definitely eat there again, especially the kebabs. Such a nice texture. Wish I had more nights in Tangier to try more of their food.

Annie Baker — Google review

Great food but a small place with not a lot of table room. We got the omelette, French toast, and the chicken sandwich and it was great. French toast was my favorite. We also got 2 iced teas, an iced coffee and an orange juice (they make it fresh for every order— delicious!). Iced teas could’ve used sweetener, but all in all very good too. Very cheap (2 people with food and drinks cost $10 with tip). One recommendation for the restaurant is to invest in an umbrella for outdoor seating because it’s too hot to be eating outside in July/August.

Shae Bianchi — Google review

After my wife and I (born and raised in Morocco) have re-discovered Tangier through the film "only lovers left alive” by Jim Jarmush (couple of scenes were taken in this beautiful city), we became aware by chance on our way to Kasabah on L'anglaise and had a very good diner back in the days 2014.Today I came here for the 6th time and ate kefta (ground beef) with pickled peppers and tomatoes. The food melts in your mouth like butter. Typical Mediterranean / Moroccan cuisine with healthy meat / vegetable combinations rounded by its simplicity.I definitely recommend this piece of art cuisine. The location is decorated so carefully and artistically that you feel like you are in a museum. Imagine that, good food and cultural heritage at the same time.

Mohammed Malek — Google review

Friendly service but the cappuccino (see photo) was an instant one, out of a jar and not at all drinkable. The place does though have wifi so I ended up staying 1/2 hour anyway

Beautiful interior, very nice orange-carrot juice and very tasty couscous with chicken and delicious samosas! Thank you!

We stumbled on the most gorgeous cafe in Tanger. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. The lovely women in the cafe were very accommodating. We had the sardines and eggplant and was 10/10. Definitely recommend.

The Cappuccino cafe is a luxurious, expensive and popular hangout in Tangier. It offers delicious desserts such as tiramisu, ice cream and raspberry tarts, as well as hot chocolates and coffees. The café is open all day long and has free WiFi.

We enjoy coming back here. One of the nicest places in Tangier. Some reviews mention that it is overpriced but I could not disagree more - prices are just as anywhere else, and including the space and quality of food, more than fair! We recommend the chicken burger, anything breakfast and pistachio ice cream.

Adri M — Google review

Too hyped up. My second visit to cappuccino and I was disappointed this time round. I ordered pasta with chicken and mushroom in white sauce. Tasted like it had been reheated a couple of times. The creme brulle cake was the highlight of my meal. Full of ladies on the pull. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Nadia Ghazoini — Google review

The service was respectful and gentle.i just want to say that that price comparison with others restaurants with the same quality of food was exagérée . They should reconsider the prices.or increase the quality of food and more specialty.

El Awd — Google review

Quality of the food is okay enough. The service can be a lot better then now. Waited 30minutes to receive a menu cart. Nobody is speaking english as well. Price are a bit higher then other locals. For the locals more a “high class” place.

Yasin Top — Google review

As a resident of Tangier for over 30 years, I have long known that the city, now with a much larger population than when I first arrived, had at least one thousand cafes scattered all over the city. One mild and sunny day in mid-December 2017, I decided to visit the upscale Cappuccino cafe and restaurant that is located in a quiet place not far from the beach and Avenue Mohammed VI, in the Malabata area of Tangier and within view of the Mövenpick Hotel and Casino.Cappuccino is beautiful and it has a pleasant outside seating area and prompt service. As you approach the entrance, the glass doors open automatically and then you proceed into a modern atrium-like area with comfortable cushioned seats at tables in rooms to the left and right sides of the entrance. On the tables there are fresh roses in small vases. If you are walking, you will pass the large gardens of Villa Harris, now a museum and art gallery. One small area is a children’s playground directly opposite Cappuccino.Cappuccino has excellent WiFi, and while the price of a coffee is 22 Dirhams, plus an additional tip for the waiter, it is well worth visiting for a coffee, tea, juice, pastry or ice cream, breakfast, lunch or dinner, and for the relaxing deluxe atmosphere, far away from the maddening crowds, and the constant honking horns and ambulances in downtown Tangier. The place is busier on weekends. It is heated and cooled, depending on the outside temperature and season of the year.Other pluses of Cappuccino are the pleasant greenery of various trees and shrubs in a park directly across the quiet road, on land that hopefully will never be "developed". There is parking on the road which is divided by a barrier planted with numerous rose bushes.Sometimes there is some background "music" inside, but the volume is usually so low that it is not a nuisance or distraction to your conversation. The entire place is relaxing to spend time enjoying your meal and drink, whether you are upstairs, downstairs or outside on one of several terraces.Cappuccino is located several miles from downtown Tangier, but it is easy to get to in a taxi or car.It is delightful to sit outside on either the front or upstairs terrace soaking up the sunshine while enjoying your food and drink in a beautiful and tranquil environment. In early January 2019, I returned to Cappuccino and sat outside in the sun, which was wonderful. My club sandwich (smoked salmon) was tasty although the four slices of toasted bread could have been a little fresher. I had to send the French fries back to be cooked longer as they were lukewarm and not crispy. The curried mayonnaise and salsa were delicious, and the side dish of chopped fresh apple provided a good balance.Cappuccino is a modern, luxurious cafe-restaurant in a quiet area off Avenue Mohammed VI, with ample parking on the street. You overlook trees rather than cement and tall buildings. Credit and debit cards are accepted.

Over crowded and noisy. High prices.Slow service. Doors are transparent at the toilet. They pretend that they dont serve big bottles of water. They don't give a paper menu but oblige people to use mobile phone to check their menu.Kids 'menu' is not a menu but a single meal.

Elea Bergeret — Google review

A two-star rating accurately reflects my experience. Despite the positive buzz surrounding the restaurant/cafe, it regrettably failed to deliver a truly exceptional experience. For those in search of a noteworthy breakfast experience, irrespective of the cost, this establishment certainly does not align with those expectations.

Aymane Elakramine — Google review

Today was the first time this year that I went to Cappucino and I was shocked by the toilets there. The toilets at a gas station are cleaner. Given the standards that this cafe sets, it is both cheeky and impertinent to expect guests to use such sanitary facilities!

MaruLiebe — Google review

Amazing place with a park just across the road. Quiet and close to the beach. Breakfast was top notch. I did have to place my order 3 times because they kept forgetting things.

Off the beaten track this upscale restaurant and coffee lounge offers a large attractive outside seating area. On street parking right outside on a quiet road with security. The menu isn't awe inspiring and there's nothing clever or exciting about it but the place is pleasant and scrupulously clean.Drinks are good, no alcohol is served.

Tim Weller — Google review

For Moroccan standards prices are just too high. They do serve great food which is served warm. The location is nice. Beach is on walking distance and opposite the there a nice park called Villa Haaris. There are other restaurants in the neighborhood.

The Thai restaurant Tom Yam offers a variety of Asian and European cuisine, as well as some traditional Thai dishes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.

Nice Thai restaurant in Tangier. Ate yellow Thai curry, it had good quantity of vegetables and the peanuts added the crunch. The ambience is okay, not that great. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly host, he introduced us plenty of Thai dishes and considered our special wishes too. My friends fell in love with the food…. it’s definitely worth a visit for people who never tried Thai food before as well as for guys who wants to eat something good.

Ronny J. Friedl — Google review

The restaurant appears unassuming from the outside but is really cozy, clean and comfortable inside. We ordered some kind of spring rolls and fried filled triangles followed by the red curry with coconut and lime and a fish curry. Both main dishes came with rice but we ordered some extra PadTai fried noodles as well. Everything tasted just excellent and authentic and the price was really fair for the quality that they offer. The owner was a perfect host. Well informed, polite, attentive, talkative, but never intrusive. I'm glad we followed his dessert recommendations, their cakes - we chose homemade carrot and blueberry cheese cake - are extremely delicious. Highly recommendable. We will come back.

This review is specifically for Asian people who are looking for some spicy food after a few days or weeks in Morocco if I only wanted Thai chilli, I could get some from the grocery store and eat it with all my food.If you come from a country where you don't like spicy food, then this could be the best Thai for you .( the White curry in the picture is supposed to be green curry)The tum yum soup was good minus the badly chopped huge chunks of ginger.

One of the best thai food i’ve had so far. The owners are really passionnate!!! Great experience!!! Thank you 🙏🏽

Shamim AR — Google review

The food was okay maybe slightly on the saltier side. The service was good until it was time to pay. On the menu, one of the items we ordered was 90dh. When I went to pay, I gave them 100dh. I was told it was actually 110dh, but paying 100dh would be enough. One of my companions was also overcharged 10dh. The issue was not that it was too expensive but that what we were charged did not match the menu. We were also given no explanation for the increased pricing. If it was a service fee, then that was not explained.

Jane Scott — Google review

I went to this Thai restaurant because my wife (of Thai origin) was desperately missing the food from her country, after 2 weeks in Morocco. Honestly, after having tried Thai restaurants in Rabat and Marrakech, this one is by far the best one. (1) The chef is really Thai. (2) discussing with the staff, the ingredients are imported from Thailand when not available here, which ensure that the served food is really authentic. (3) the service is excellent and the staff speaks well English, French and Arabic. All this makes this Thai restaurant one of the best oversea restarant we have ever seen (comparing with Sydney, Tokyo and Paris). If you are tired of Moroccan cuisine and want to enjoy a Thai cuisine in Morocco, then you must stop there. For 2 adult + 1 child, we spent 360 Mad. A very reasonable price for a good restaurant.

Great Italian food place with reasonable prices , most of the time you find it crowded , but it's worth going there , they are known for their pastit*io , but I prefer their carbonara pasta served with fair amount of chicken and mushrooms and ofc their salads with big quantities.I highly recommend this place.

Great fairly priced food and good service. If you're going to order a lasagna, better to order the beef one rather than the fruitti di mare lasagna which can taste a bit bland but it's okay.

Renz Mae Ladroma — Google review

An awful experience. First of all this is not an Italian restaurant, even for Marocco. The menu had a variety of different choices from pasta and pizza to plates. Prices were decent but customer service was nothing special. Noone was speaking English and the menu was on french as well. The pasta was overcooked and there was too much cream I couldn't even finish the dish because it was gross. I don't recommend at all.

I can't get enough of this restaurant in Tangier! Having visited at least 5 times, I'm consistently spellbound by their mouthwatering food and captivating atmosphere. Despite being popular and always full, they manage to find a table for everyone, and their diverse menu from salads to pizzas and pasta is an absolute delight. This place has won my heart, and I'll undoubtedly keep coming back for more of their delicious offerings.

I love wood fire pizza. Nothing compares. This place did some amazing work. The only problem is I didn't get what I ordered. I got a calzone (take away), I'm not really a fan. I find the lack of cheese crust off-putting but this one was really good. The egg in the middle was perfect that's why it gets 4 stars. french speaking,Italian styled, Moroccan based restaurant. Worth it if you're in Tangier! To be fair- I've been in Morocco for 4 days. I've eaten every meal at a different restaurant. Not one of my orders has been 100% correct!

The food was great to say the least, it was delicious and the prices were very reasonable given the quantity and quality. The place is usually packed, so make sure you go a bit early to find your spot, but I highly recommend it, it is worth the wait if needed.

Cheap and Cheerful PizzeriaThe caprese salad, mushroom risotto and vegetarian pizza were average. The service was good. Overall- it's great value if you consider the prices, but the flavour of the dishes leave much to be desired.

The menu at Caravaggio is fantastic, with a great selection of classic Italian dishes as well as some more unique offerings. The pasta dishes are particularly amazing - I adored the " plat Caravaggio " and the "pasticcio" ! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a warm, welcoming vibe. Overall, Caravaggio is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Tangier.

Zaynab Kallat — Google review

We ordered a Pasticcio with one co*ke and had to pay 44dh. It was the first time for me to eat Pasticcio, which was a super nice experience. The atmosphere in this restaurant is super modern. And not because of the modern design, because of the young people aorund. So it's kind of the place to go. Also the design is pretty cool with lots of colors and pics around. The stuff was fast and friendly. So we both enjoyed the evening here and will come back again.

I eat here every day, the food is delicious and I order something different from the menu every day, 💫 so far not a single X has been disappointing 👌 The service consists exclusively of men, who are very attentive and nice! What also attracts me to Sky 17 is that it is so clean and tidy👌 the floor is swept every 10 minutes, after every toilet visit the toilet is cleaned, as well as the taps and sink! Kudos to the ladies👌Coincidentally, I took two photos yesterday in front of #Pont Neuf. The fries were just as tasty as those from #Pont Neuf.Just the right amount of salt and crispy homemade 🍟 I put together the Marocain salad myself... it looked very chic and was actually too much for one person🥗The 🥝 and🥭 freshly squeezed are also delicious and generous! Here you can enjoy a full meal and fresh fruit juice for 100 DH💫

Cafe La Giralda is a beautiful, vintage-style cafe with great views. The prices are reasonable and the food is okay. The staff are nice, but they're pretty insistent on getting contact information from customers, which isn't very professional.

Very nice breakfast, not too rich but enough for having a good start of the day. Atmosphere is as the one you see on the photos, even better actually. Cafe La Giralda is located on the first floor in the Maersk building on the Boulevard Pasteur, and it offers a fantastic view of the ocean and port from its large plate-glass windows. The place is perhaps best for special occasions as it is a bit more money than other nearby boulevard cafes, yet it is worth patronizing for the view. Personally I think the decor is a bit much, with lots of gold and intricately plastered ceiling, but this is part of its charm. The service is good and it is never really crowded, nor is it noisy, and there is no street noise. During the summer it is air-conditioned, and there is also WiFi.

Kenneth Tangerois3 Maroc — Google review

The waiters were very unprofessional and unfriendly. When I came, I wanted to sit next to a window however, everything was busy a waiter asked me to sit and wait. Located right on the beach in Tangier, Le Grand Café Mella offers a stunning view of the Mediterranean and delicious tea. It is modern and more sophisticated than a typical Moroccan living room, but it's a great place to try out due to the view. Overpriced, though.

I really liked nicely baked multi grain breads with cheese and tomato sauce. Since the breakfast menus, which cost about 40-45 dirhams, also include orange juice, coffee, and a small bottle of water, I think the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very tranquil with peaceful sea view. Although the menus are written in French only, the waiters are very attentive, thus always willing to help to translate them if you need. Please try here when you are tired of the big & round Moroccan breads.

Soojin Namgung — Google review

At first I was going to go to the Cafe Panorama nearby but decided to try this place. It seemed to be upscale, uniquely modern upstairs and downstairs, and indeed it is, as well as being very clean and it directly fronts on the popular beach in the Malabata area of Tangier.I decided to sit outside in a small garden whose two tables were in a setting that allowed me to view in the distance two large yachts belonging to the King of Saudia Arabia and the Emir of Qatar. After ordering a coffee I summoned a waiter to bring me the menu to see if any items might interest me.While the pizzas were reasonable in price, I saw that the prices for other food items were not so cheap. I decided to order a Caesar Salad at 70 Dirhams, mainly because of the anchovies, which I really like. The menu said the lettuce would be Romaine, but an odd variation arrived with another type of lettuce, very large shavings of parmesan cheese, and instead of croutons there were several pretzel-style bread sticks. There was minimal lettuce and just a few small anchovies, and not a true Caesar salad dressing--just oil and vinegar. I ate it all but was very disappointed with this choice on my first visit.Le Grand Cafe Mella in Tangier is, however, well worth the extra money for the views and you can also sit on an upper open-air terrace or downstairs outside in the sun, watching the ocean and people on the beach. It is fairly quiet inside and outside.Although my first order did not match what the menu said, on a subsequent visit with my brother we sat outside facing the beach and we enjoyed superb marinated anchovies omlette with delicious and fresh warm whole wheat bread for 33 Dirhams and a coffee that was 18 Dirhams and on the small side. And on a third visit my brother ordered a cheese omlette that was very good.Le Grand Cafe Mella in Tangier is a beautiful, comfortable and tranquil place. The waiters are attentive and polite. I highly recommend this place as a getaway from the noisy downtown.

Recently, I visited an Arabic style restaurant that truly captured the essence of Middle Eastern dining ambiance. During our visit, we opted to try the shawarma and tacos. While the shawarma and tacos were of average taste and didn’t particularly stand out, the pastries we sampled afterward were a different story. They were absolutely excellent, boasting a perfect blend of flavors that was both authentic and delightful. The service at this restaurant was commendable. I arrived Tanger the night before and it was raining. I didn’t know the area and didn’t want to take the risk to walk too far from my hotel. After traveling in Morocco for 2 weeks I really wanted to try some different than tagine. I literally went to bed with an almost empty stomach.Today still went to scout for food and found this place. The chicken Shawarma is like a wrap. The portion was big and the meat was tasty 😋 staff were super friendly and understood I couldn’t eat two orders of shawarma and immediately removed one from my order. Now my stomach is feeling satisfied😍They also have yummy looking pastries and various breads for sale. Will find a time to come back to try them.Wish they could provide an English menu so I can order something else. Highly recommend.

Being a regular customer since the opening still won’t get the staff that’s been there ever since to come take your order or even drop off the (rather limited) menu card. They will instead, wipe down empty tables and rearrange chairs, once they’re done taking the order of customers who have arrived AFTER you did. You can huff and puff all you want, they will still ignore your obviously frustrated face and shrug it off. If you ask for cold water instead of room temperature any time after September, it’s like asking them to convert freezing temperature to Fahrenheit or something. Then there is a short list of items that could stand a little increase in volume, mainly the savoury items. The owner is pleasant and polite but he should probably ‘offer’ the incompetent staff a second training course, if they even got a first one. Alas, it won’t matter anyway since they lost me as a customer after recurrent sloppiness.

The most clean and well displayed patisserie in Tangier. We made the discovery while looking for some local food. We bought some to go, but after trying it we decided to go back and buy a lot more. Delightful sweets

(Translated by Google) The pastry Al Afrah is one of the best pastry of Tangier, it is at Kasbah Street after Bab Kasbah, the path of Grand Socco. The cake, chocolate cream short all that is 🎂. The price is reasonable. The reception is nice.🎁(Original)La pâtisserie Al afrah est une des meilleures pâtisserie de Tanger, elle se trouve à la rue kasbah après bab kasbah ,le chemin de grand socco. Patisserie

If you visit Tetouan, you must try the pastries at ERRAHMOUNI Sweets. Their cakes are delicious and the service provided by the waiters is excellent. The staff makes an effort to communicate in Spanish and ensure customers feel welcome. In addition to their pastries, they offer a variety of sandwiches, natural juices, and smoothies such as avocado and almond milk which are exquisite.

Excellent place if you wish to try from a vast array of sweets and pastries (including salty). On top of that, they have great coffee and fruit shakes of all sorts. The place is always full and was recommended to us by local people. Highly recommended.

Perfecto para desayunar, tomar algo a media mañana o merendar.(Translated by Google)If you go to Tetouan you have to go and try their cakes, they are very good, the attention from the waiters was very good, they made an effort to speak and understand Spanish, they made us feel very good. I don't understand how each time they get away with using nuts (much cheaper) instead of almonds in their sweets that are overpriced for "the almond" that's in it

Yousra Ilaneb — Google review

La comida estaba bien, incluyendo varios dulces locales. Eso sí, estaba lleno de abejas.(Translated by Google)The food was fine, including various local sweets. Of course, it was full of bees.
