Just understanding the code doesn't make one a good tutor..Today marks my last day as TA in Coding Ninjas. From April to June , i have helped students in building logic and helped during code. I did slip some day due to college exams but gained valuable coding experience as well. It was a great experience.Looking forward to more such events.

I'm thrilled to share that my teammate Srijita Saha and I, as team "Lone_Foxhound" participated in 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲 at 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝟮.𝟮𝟰 in 𝗕𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗠𝗧, where we competed against 170+ teams, and was able to finish in the top 15 in the finals! The competition had 3 rounds:Prelims : 30 MCQs and output calculation in 45 minutes.Mains : 11 coding questions in 1.5 hour, ranging from easy to difficult.Finals : 5 medium to difficult coding questions in approximately 2 hours.Though we didn't reach the top spot, the experience was incredibly rewarding, pushing us to our limits and providing valuable knowledge about code logic. A big thank you to the coordinators Subrata Bhuin , Shuvechha Nandi , Agradip Banik .

#hacktoberfest2023 done and dusted!!Managed to do 4+ contributions in this year's edition of Hacktoberfest . Previously, I participated in 2022 Hacktoberfest but the github repository where I was doing pull request got excluded. This year, I was careful while choosing the field and repository where pull/merge request can be done safely. As mentioned, Hacktoberfest 2023 doesn't have any offline prizes. But there are so many Badges in Holopin and a nice prize bucket full of some credits to use different tech related companies' services for free for a limited time. Also, a tree was planted after successful acceptance of first pull request. A special thanks to my friend Subrata Bhuin for helping me a lot in pull requests while participating in Hacktoberfest 2022 . Really that knowledge has helped a lot in this year 😊.For choosing repository and projects, this link has helped a lot : https://lnkd.in/dTykZUxd Eager to participate in next Hacktoberfest 😄.#hactoberfest2023 #opensource

Now it's to time emulate Link's latest Adventure!!After Breath Of The Wild, managed to emulate The Legend Of Zelda : Tears Of The Kingdom. Initially, I have used Ryujinx but emulation was not perfect. Then switched to Yuzu and got huge performance boost. It took some time to find the proper game dump (this time dumped the .nsp file), product key, title key. Care was taken while calibrating the controller, setting the graphics.Using Nintendo switch firmware version 16.2.0 . As renderer ,used Vulkan instead of OpenGL as i only have integrated graphics. Using Intel Iris Xe integrated Graphics with driver version 31.0.101.4502. Shader compilation took about 4 minutes during initial bootup. After that , it is giving almost 45 FPS,average 30 FPS in dense regions - with FIFO utilization at 70% average. There are still graphical bugs(although very rare now, during initial emulation it was more problematic when shader caching was not complete). Experiencing fps drop in some parts, where new area loading is much more evident.#emulation #videogames

Metroid Dread was the first game in Nintendo's Metroid franchise that was released on 8th generation console, Nintendo Switch. There are 2 experimental emulator in market - YUZU and RYUJINX which can play Nintendo switch games. Both emulators are good though I prefer ryujinx for simplicity. Ryujinx also has a console which shows current system status, which is a big help for me as it properly shows any detected error. It took some time to find the proper game dump (.xci file), product key, title key. Care was taken while calibrating the controller, setting the graphics. Using Nintendo switch firmware version 16.2.0 . As renderer ,used Vulkan instead of OpenGL as i only have integrated graphics. Using Intel Iris Xe integrated Graphics with driver version 31.0.101.4369. While using previous driver version, there was weird texture popup, making it unplayable. However, after updating to current graphics driver the issue was fixed completely. Shader compilation took about 4 minutes during initial bootup. After that , it is giving almost 60 FPS, with FIFO utilization at 60% average.#videogames#emulation

Emulation serves as a method to preserve old video games, which fascinates me quite a lot. Wii U is a 7th Generation video game console, created by Nintendo. The Legend Of Zelda : Breath of The Wild(BoTW) was the last game on Wii U console, as well as the introductory game for 8th Generation console, Nintendo Switch. Now being able to play BoTW on the best Wii U emulator in market, CEMU ; it's a wonderful experience. It took quite a time to find proper game dump file, have to tweak configs ,calibrating the controller, installing firmware etc. Using Vulkan instead of OpenGL as renderer cause I don't have any dedicated graphics card at this moment. Using Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics with driver version 31.0.101.4032. CEMUhook motion sense plugin is helping a lot , which senses gyroscope motion of my phone as my current controller doesn't have inbuilt gyroscope. This is required for fine camera control and some gameplay parts , although optional. Shader compilation took about 10 minutes on first boot, which is quite normal for a laptop with 8 GB ram. After that , game is running quite smooth, reaching about 40 FPS and average 30 FPS in dense regions. #emulation #videogames
