Foxtons founder Jon Hunt’s wealth fell in 2023 but he still managed to move up the Sunday Times Rich List, the latest rankings show.
The annual list charts the wealth of the 350 richest people in the UK.
Hunt ranks at number 120, up from 124 last year.
That is despite estimates that his fortune dropped by £24m last year.
Such a drop hopefully won’t affect him too much though as he is still thought to be worth £1.4bn.
It comes after Foxtons has spent recent years restructuring and faced a slower property market in 2023.
Steel magnate Gopi Hindujaand family remain at the top of the list, with a fortune estimated at £37bn.
